They saved the day for us. We were left high and dry with no open restaurant or food for Mother's Day since Casa Linda said they opened at 9am and gave me reservations but they really open at 10.

They quickly accommodated 14 of us (taking over almost all tables) and quickly were helped and served. Food was good. Most of us had Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros and we all left our plates empty lol. A couple got Huaraches and Quesadillas and they too loved them. Great because they were handmade tortillas! Always a plus! Everyone raved about the liquados (milkshakes) and Horchata so those were very popular in our group.

This place is NOT the same. So disappointing eating a Gordita with absolutely NO flavor as I type this. Not even adding what used to to be my favorite thing here (their green salsa) helps! - it's watered down no with absolutely no kick! It's so sad. I knew the owner before and she was amazing! She cooked with love and you were able to taste it. These new people ... I don't know what the hell they're doing. Sadly this might be my last visit here. New owners please get it together and please start caring.

I'm not in LA very often and actually never but this place was a great find!! My mom was looking for authentic Mexican food and she had a friend tell her about his place and it may have taken us an hour to get there and find it but it was worth it. Made my mom happy and the food was really good and they had huge portions so you know our tummys were full.

This place use to be better. Maybe the cook is different not sure but today our food was not what it use to be. The steak i ordered was cold, the huarache was hard and the egg wasn't the way i ordered it. Overall the quality is not what it was before.

When we got here 10 mins passed before someone took our order then another 30 minutes to get our food. The huevo con chorizo had no flavor and the beans tasted like if they were came from the cans. I had a Quesadilla frita with shredded beef. It all tasted too plain. The Horchata tasted horrible and the mango shake tasted more like banana than mango.
Five or six months ago the servoce and food was way better.
